Fullerton Health Australia has acquired Melbourne CBD general practice, Collins Street Medical Centre.

Collins Street Medical Centre, located at purpose built rooms on Level 7, 267 Collins Street, Melbourne has expanded over recent years and now includes nine vocationally registered general practitioners, four practice nurses, and onsite pathology.

The city-based practice offers a broad range of general health services ranging from chronic disease management to skin cancer checks, and travel medicine. The practice also provides mental health care, family planning, together with men’s and women’s health.

The practice uses DCP Results, an online secure way for patients to see their results with their GP’s explanatory comments to empower patients and help them self manage their health.

The acquisition of Collins Street Medical Centre closely follows the announcement by Fullerton Health that it has acquired Healthscope’s medical centres, a portfolio of 48 facilities located across Australia. Fullerton Health Australia will become the third largest primary care business in the country, and is well positioned for future expansion of its primary care division.
